Maybe I should post some of my art here since I’ve bought a pen tablet.

So far, this is my first OC and the only decent drawing that I’ve drawn since I had my tablet.

I was inspired to draw this by Tomoe, a character in a manga. I’ve been meaning to draw a Kitsune wearing a Yukata! And finally, I was able to pull it off ^^; I’ll draw his partner later on :))

Mass killing of pigs in South Korea

Im not really aware of what is going on in Korea but tonight, Jun told me about the mass murder of pigs in S. Korea because of Food and mouth disease.

I know they can harm people and an action is needed to be done but who wouldn’t feel sorry for these living animal? On the video, you can hear them crying, altho im not a pig to understand but they were able to convey their grieving through their screams.

My new baby! Genius Easy Pen i405 graphic tablet!

I absolutely didnt had any plan to buy one when I went to mall today. I was on bookstores looking for a good manga to buy but there’s this stall for Genius tablet for kids and I end up playing it. I asked for the cheapest tablet price and the guy assisting me asked me to check out another floor for more Genius tablets.

The cheapest that I found costs like $45! Its really cheap and I dont really need an expensive tablet just to draw. My hobby is drawing so i’ve thought of just putting my only talent in more use. Actually, before, I wanted to buy a Wacom tablet but it would take time before I can buy one so i’m just gonna try this one.

I wont really give a detailed-technical-review.

That’s my working place. Its a little bit cramped but Im able to finish all of my work in that messy table LOL and PLS. Don’t mind my desktop ^^ I’ve heard lots of friends saying”WHAT THE HECK IS YOUR DESKTOP?” sheesh. Im more comfortable that way hahaha

Detective Conan: Movie 15

Oh well, we are already in our 15th year of Detective Conan legacy and they never failed to give us a kickass movie anually!

Here is the 15th Movie for Detective Conan that will air in Japan on April 16, 2011 entitled Quarter of Silence.

The story begins with a threat against the Tokyo governor, Asakura. The letter threatens to blow up the newly opened and municipally‐owned subway tunnel the following day but thanks to Conan, after he heard about the warning letter from Kogorou, he managed to prevent and stop the explosion and no casualties noted.

Conan and the gang went and investigated Niigata Prefecture where a dam was built when Asakura was still the Minister of Transport.  There might be where the culprit lies!

Manga: Student x Teacher Relationship genre

Yes. Of all the genre’s available there in manga, SxT is my favorite. Well, first of all, of course if it were to happen in real life it’s really absurd. It’s about professionalism, etiquettes and stuff beyond my knowledge but in manga, it’s full of fiction where anyone can enjoy reading it without the struggle of the mangaka to give a malicious notion.

The reason why I liked this genre is because it’s heartwarming, exciting, mysterious and fun! I cant find the words to describe it but to put it simply, it makes me smile. Isn’t that enough to keep me into it? :)

Moving on, I have read tons of SxT out there and prolly, they’re all my favorite because SxT only surmise 10-15% of the manga genre population. I made this thread for the list of my favorite SxT and I hope you could try them out and let me hear your opinion!

IMO: I just have to let you know that this is my Top 1 SxT manga! Its so cute and lovey! And the fact that I have a thing for guys with glasses, this one just have to be it! but if you are waiting for something so “lovey” to see, you you should have lots of patience in reading this because the mangaka likes to tease us and she’s dragging it so long but nonetheless, its still my favorite! I can wait <3

IMO: THE ART OF THIS MANGA IS SOOOOO COOOOOOL. I REALLY LOVE IT. AND THE STORY OMG. AIKAWA SAKI IS THE BEST.  You should read all of her works! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

MANGA: Japanese Comics

For those who doesn’t know what Manga is: Manga refers specifically to a comic that originated and published from Japan. In short, a comic book. Contrary to American comics, the Japanese way of reading a manga is from top to bottom and from right to left. For first timers, it’s kinda confusing but I think even for those who are frequent readers, its sometimes confusing. Anime on the other hand is the video version of most mangas but there are anime original series.

In Korea, they also have their own style of comics and they call it Manhwa / 만화. It’s actually easy to distinguish Manga from Manhwa based on their art.

Frankly speaking, ever since I started liking Anime, I never had an interest to read a manga. I always thought that if its an animation, it’s better. Last year, I tried to read once but I felt so out of it because its so dull, you’re just reading and there were no emotions at all. I have a friend who likes anime and she also reads manga, so sometimes we talk about anime stuff. One day, she asked me and told me many times to read this manga bla bla and so, I’ve tried. I forgot what manga she recommended but after reading some one-shot mangas (mostly 1-4 chapters) I realized that it’s not so bad, in fact it was cool.

Ever since then, I always read manga whenever Im at home, at least 3-5 mangas depending on their chapters, if it’s a one-shot or a series. I was wrong when I thought that there were no feelings on reading it. You can actually feel the same emotions that you can have while watching Anime but in my opinion there are greater mixed emotions in manga.

Happiness is not a goal..

The thing that caught my attention when I bought this bookmark December last year (oh crap, i was about to write December last NIGHT lol) was the cat! but when i saw the text I remember that i’ve seen that quote 4 years ago. I believed that it came from a Anime but im not that sure lol

And YES, i’ve been meaning to finish the first book of Holmes THIS month. I pity myself because its already been 2 years since I started reading it. Night time is the best time for me to flip through it because of the mystery and suspense but sometimes I cant help myself to give it up because Doyle’s paragraph is just like a sleeping pill.

The 13th Zodiac Sign – Ophiuchus Nov. 29 – Dec. 17

I just heard about this today. At first, I was like “Fo’ real? You’re kidding right?”

My birthday is November 29, for my whole life I’ve known my zodiac sign as a Sagittarius but today, it totally changed, of all the other 11 zodiac signs, im moved to the newest, the 13th, Ophiuchus. I don’t know if I should get depressed about this but I just love being a Sagittarian and changing sign this easily is an awful surprise, well for me who doesn’t know anything about astrology.

A famous astronomer or whatever you call her left  a tweet on her twitter saying that there’s no such thing as the new zodiac sign. In short, it’s just a hoax that someone made to stir up the people.

Oh well, it’s really up to the people if they are gonna let themselves get accustomized to the new zodiac signs or if they’re gonna stick up for what they’ve been believing for so long.

I think it just shortened my life span. lol
