KDrama: Boys Over Flowers/꽃보다 남자

I’ve been hearing rumors about this Korean version of Meteor Garden since last year and folks even had polls on whom should be the F4 members casts. There’s Hankyung, Kibum, Junsu and whoever they root for.

January 5, 2009 – It came. What everybody’s waiting for. As soon as subs were available, I didn’t took an interest to watch it not until this last week of May. I saw the scene where JanDi was being bullied again, then JunPyo came to rescue her LOL I dont know but I’ve liked that scene and so, i searched what episode was that.. to my amusement, it was only on the 4th episode -___- very long way for me but yeah I didn’t start on episode 1 :D

I just finished watching this drama yesterday. Well, based from the comments I have read, many had fun watching the drama and I NEVER saw anyone whose comment pleased me. They didn’t saw what’s really going on in the drama. Okay, the drama has good-looking leads and so? -__- This drama has a lot of inconsistencies that should be noted.

I’ll list the ones that made an impact to me (This is in no chronological order)

1. Kang San was brought to the clinic because of stomachache. They didn’t told what was that about. I can assume that it’s not a appendicitis, if not.. then what? Just a stomach upset? and JanDi didn’t know that. No one told her.

2. JiHoo, on his helmet. How could you possibly hear anyone on the phone if you are wearing your helmet? That’s mockery.

3. Yumi Chang – what happened to her? There’s no sorry for JanDi and JunPyo or whatsoever -_-

4. WooBin.. his scene on the bridge. What’s the connection of that to the story? Is that connected on how he saved YiJung from those womanizers?

5. Gu JunPyo’s father. He was cured and he should have looked for JanDi to thank her right?

6. JanDi’s father~ suddenly out of the blue.

7. JanDi’s expression. She only has two expression in the whole series. Her pouting face, and her grin. She could have made it better.

8. YiJung’s affair with the pottery girl – I skipped that. -__-

There are lot more of that but I will stop there. I am not saying that the drama is not good, because of that inconsistencies it made the drama hanging. Well, this killed-off my humdrum routine.

TDrama: Devil Beside You (2005)

The first drama that got me into this addiction. I first saw this on a video in crunchyroll, Asian drama kiss and I saw Mike and Raine’s kissing scene, I’ve liked it and searched it. The first thing that got me into this was because of the lead, Mike He <– He’s very goodlooking especially when his hair is down and a good kisser <3 This was shown also in Philippines on GMA Network, I didn’t watched it, the dubs were an epic fail.

How ironic of this drama, who could have known that Mike and Raine will be in one family? Mike’s dad will marry Raine’s mom.. They are not related by blood but the society wont accept this kind of incest. They hid their relationship to their family and it wasn’t simple, they were on the same roof but can’t express their sentiments for each other but I love it how Mike showed his love to Raine <3 He was so romantic although he have this “bad boy” image, well that’s what makes it more interesting.

JDrama: My Boss My Hero

I can’t believe I came over such a drama.

My Boss My Hero is typically about Sakaki Makio, age 27 who is a successor of his father’s business, which is Yakuza but since he is super dumb, stupid and doesn’t know how to write Kanji at his age he was forced to be back on school and to graduate with a diploma. He came back to school with the help of his father’s friend, the principal forging his age, he became a 17-year-old guy. That was his father’s condition in order for him to take over their business, if not, his younger brother will have it.

When I had watched this drama, I kept laughing on each episodes believe me, the humor of this drama is awesome. His stupidity was way too funny! A Human Brain that cannot think of.

Man. It’s worth watching just for the faces he make.
